Our Goal
The Product Committee consists of industry experts from multiple disciplines from internet engineering to marketing. The Product Committee proposes and oversees the development of educational and advocacy tools that close information gaps in the interconnection community and present the benefits of open interconnection.
The flagship products produced by the Product Committee include the OIX Navigator product and the State of Interconnection report.
The OIX Navigator is an online tool developed to increase transparency and observability about the growth and dispersion of interconnection globally, allowing users to easily research, investigate, and compare geographies benefiting from increased network presence. The State of Interconnection report provides unique insights and thought leadership on the current state of interconnection and its capacity to support present and future digital service demands.
Committee Members
All OIX Committees are comprised of volunteer representatives from the Global Internet community who are coming together to create a better, safer, stronger, fairer Internet. The expected weekly time commitment for task completion is 1-2 hours per week. It is asked that volunteers for this committee commit to a one-year term.
